Setelah masuk pertama kali di awal semester 2, MTs Negeri 1 Kudus mengadakan apel pagi/4 Januari 2016. Apel yang berlangsung di Halaman depan MTs Negeri 1 Kudus selain sebagai pembekalan dari Kepala Madrasah untuk seluruh siswa-siswi juga sebagai ajang pengenalan bakal calon ketua OSIS masa bakti 2016.
5 bakal calon OSIS MTsN 1 Kudus yaitu:
1. Hana Nilna Mafaza VIII A
2. Ahmad Ibnu Fahlan, VIII B
3. Farid Akmal Gonzales VIII C
4. Mei Andry Nurkholifah VIII F
5. M. Ali Firdaus VIII G
Untuk pemilihan akan berlangsung pada hari Sabtu 9 Januari 2016. Lima bakal calon ketua OSIS ini berkampanye untuk memilih masing-masing dari mereka dengan visi misi yang diemban yaitu memajukan dinamika kesiswaan siswa-siswi MTs Negeri 1 Kudus.
